RunesThe runes are an ancient oracle, used by a questioner to ask advice on almost any topic. As with tarot cards, the questioner unknowingly selects those runes which will offer help on the particular problem at hand. It is you, the runes reader, who interprets what the runes say. It is a position of some power. Each individual rune has an inscription with three different meanings, one practical, others of a more mystical nature. The runes themselves are ancient, using a form of writing which may go back to the Carthusians and which has been linked to the Druidic Ogham script. They have undergone a revival of interest in the last few years because of the emphasis on personal responsibility and free will, concepts which resonate well in the twenty-first century. |
